Bro's Bdae @ Botak Jones
Celebrated my Bro's Bdae at Botak Jones-AMK ave 5 today during lunch. We had a late lunch at about 2 plus coz dun wanna wait for a long time for the food.
Dad ordered 4 main courses and a salad. Ceasar Salad w chicken, Cajun Chicken, Fish n Chips (large portion), Lamp Chop and Steak (300grams).
Each of the main course came with loads of fries and coleslaw. The Chicken was topped w loads of cheese and I love the cajun seasoning... The steak was medium well done, so looks rather bloody but it was rather juicy and tender-n it was more than 1 inch thick!! The lamb chop taste like lamb, dun like it but dad likes it a lot. Fish n chips was rather disappointing coz the batter was a bit thick, though the fish is not smelly. The salad was normal but I like the chicken pieces...
It cost us $59 and we could not finish the fries coz the portion was huge! We waited for about 20 minutes and my dad said their service is excellent! :)
Bro bought a new LG prada Phone and his fren gave him a prada wallet for his birthday! Hope the phone last... haha.. :) Happy Birthday!!

Jumbo @ 07 Sept 07
Met up with the gals last nite-we went to Jumbo at Riverside Point...it was reallie packed...
We had 2 chilli crabs, cereal prawns, venison w ginger n garlic and kang kong w sambal chilli... n we had 2 fried buns each! We were damn full after dinner... so we decided to go for Ice Cream!! haha ... so weird rite?
When auntie took our order, she asked if we wanted to have the shell peeled? n Yunni asked whether the shells are peeled after or before the frying? ... such an odd question... but it is so Yunni to ask.. ha...
Anywayz, we took a walk around clarke quay n wanna to go to TCC but saw the queue and decided against it. Walked on and found a little italian place which serves ice-cream..
Yunni n JT ordered chocolate ice-cream, Zhen order Rum n Raisin and I ordered Lost in the Woods (mainly my fav strawberry ice cream and yogurt!) .. we stayed till about midnight.. n just talked n talked.. Yunni as usual laughed and talked till she teared... n of coz, always abt Brian...
We are going to celebrate our 10-yr friendship on New Yr's Eve this year... going to find a hotel room (yunni's responsibility) and don our VJ uniform!! damn... i dun think i can fit into it lor.. n dunno where it is alreadi... haha.. :P Hope it will be fun!!!!
Yesterday my colleague from Hong Kong asked me if "facebook" is popular in Singapore?
Google about it... n found tt it is similar to Friendster but got more functions, rather fun.... but a bit confusing at times... :) realised Kev has recently sent me a link to join Facebook too.. ha...
Seems like there are a few pple alreadi on Facebook... n found my Primary Sch fren on it too... n everyone is in so many different parts of the world now... got their recent updates from their profile ... everyone seems to be doing so well.. Happy for everyone! :)

Poem-Proposal
What I want to ask of you is this,
If I can find the nerve to make the leap:
Life scatters dreams across the hills of sleep,
Lest we be too easy in our bliss.
Yet I am aware what I might miss.
Only what we treasure can we keep,
Ultimately sowing what we reap,
Modeling a world upon a kiss.
And so I must reveal to you my heart,
Recalling all my courage from its rest,
Ready for whatever word might be.
You are all the object of my quest,
My cynosure, my life, my other part.
Each line of this begins my urgent plea.
Poem tt Mr Soh used for his romantic proposal-so sweet... the clue is in the last line as well as the "ready for whatever word might be"...

Singapore Flyer
At 165 metres (545 feet), or 42 storeys high, the Singapore Flyer will be the largest observation wheel in the world..
The Singapore Flyer's capsules -- about the size of a city bus -- are air conditioned and can carry up to 28 people. Passengers are free to walk around and will not feel movement or vibration.
The Singapore Flyer will be located on the Singapore waterfront across from the Marina Bay Sands casino complex set to open in 2009, and near the pit area of a Formula One Grand Prix street race to be held for the first time in 2008.
For $29.50, passengers on the Singapore Flyer will get a 360-degree view of up to 45 kilometres across the island republic and into neighbouring Malaysia and Indonesia.
You can hold ur birthday parties and wedding solemnisation in the capsules...:) cool!
